Chapter 7

Lucky was still chuckling at what she’d done, no one would believe her, but it was fun to do.

She’d noticed people filing in and the place starting to fill up, she sipped more water.

About half an hour later she felt someone tap her on her back, turning she found four blonde under dressed women. They were done up to the nines, coloured blonde hair, boobs spilling out of their tops, fake tans and nails for all! She didn’t like the look of them one little bit.

Looking down her nose at them, ‘Yes?’

Watching from not far away was Mark.

The ringleader gave a false cheery smile that never made it to her eyes, ‘Well hey there. We were just wondering, seeing as you’re so tall, if we could squeeze in front of you?’ Again with the fake smile.

‘Nope.’ Lucky was having none of it; they wanted to throw themselves at the band they could find somewhere else.

The blondes smile disappeared and she looked Lucky up and down, ‘Oh come on, how the hell do you expect us to see passed you? People like you should be made to stand in the back, it’s not like the band would look twice at you.’ She sneered and her lackeys snickered.

‘I’ve an idea, why don’t you take those fake nails, hair and tits and totter off to the other side of the stage and bug someone else.’ The woman next to Lucky agreed, and Lucky turned her back on them.

The sheer rage at being turned down twisted the blondes face into a nasty mask. Mark started towards Lucky, the blonde got out a small bottle of red wine and he knew damn well where she intended it to go!

‘Hey Lucky you ok darlin?’ He glared passed her into the faces of the four shocked women, the leader moved her hand behind her back.

‘I’m fine babe, these ladies were asking me to move and I’ve told them no.’ She grinned at him.

‘Well ladies, may I suggest y’all make your way to the other side of the stage, there’s plenty of room over there. I’m sure you’ll find somewhere more suitable to stand.’ His mean was clear in his cold eyes, move it or he’d get them moved!

They huffed and stalked off.

‘My hero, coming to rescue me! What were they going to do?’ She knew they’d be vindictive.

‘A bottle of red wine.’ That was all he said, Lucky was glad he’d been about, she didn’t want to try and get a wine stain out of this top. In fact she’d probably have to throw it!

‘Well thanks again. I hate women like that; they’re only after shagging the band and selling the story, nasty ass pieces of work!’

‘Well I can tell ya, the guys don’t like em too much either! They had their share of black widows.’

Lucky laughed, ‘Wonder where they are now?’ She scanned the crowd.

‘I can see them, aw shit not again! I’ll be back.’ And he hurried off towards the crowd in the middle.
